This products yields very useful info - but I experience multiple difficulties using the mobile app. Every time it upgrades (quarterly at least, when. They provide new data), I need to re-enter a new password. As I have a subscription to this through my hospital, I need to be at a workstation in the hospital network to find. The new password for this quarter. In other words, I cannot use this mobile app without first sitting down at a workstation. Even worse, sometimes the password does not even work. I just updated and entered the password from our library, and its not accepted. Our librarians contacted Thompson-Reuters (Micromedex) tech support. They shared "they are aware of the problem, but they dont have access to the new password. No time estimate on when the web page will be updated with the new password. Their advice is to use the web interface until this problem is corrected." My advice is if youre going to spend money for a mobile drug interaction program, do it with a company that understands and is committed to supporting a mobile platform. Based on my experience, Micromedex (Thompson Reuters) does not fit my needs.

I expected more from micromedex. I ran sertraline and trazodone as a test. it did not pick up the interaction. I think thats dangerous and I cannot use it. I regret that I paid anything for it.

Very slow and expensive app.

The app is free to "install". After you click on the app, you are required to pay.... This is not a free app. Either an individual or a hospital must pay to use this application.

Deceptive! My Epocrates is down so I tried to download this, but I would have had to pay $10 to subscribe... NO THANKS!

I paid the $10.00 and ever since then all I get from all 3 apps that I downloaded and paid for is a page that tells me the Micromedex Drug interactions can be bought for $10.00. There is no way to get out the that ad page and though I bought it, it has never worked.

You say app is free but after installing you have to pay $10 to subscribe. Just say it up front and dont waste my time.

Great resource that used to be free. Now with this update they want a subscription to use. Worse yet the sneaky people dont even tell us this was going to happen! They lie saying this release is just an update to branding Skip this. If you buy anything get epocrates which is far better than these guys. Dont buy. Just use free other apps or web sites.

Great app! Well worth the $9.99 a year. The cost is stated clearly in the description and so I was well aware of that when I downloaded the app. I have an iPhone 4 and it works fine

When u see it, its said free but when down load it and updates u have to paid $9.99 to use it wow what a scam... Reporting it to support....

it says right at the very top of the app description that its $9.99 for non Micromedex customers and free for Micromedex customers. Its always been this way on this app. The one that is completely free is Drug Informaiton - youve mixed up your apps. its not a scam; why do you expect the best, evidence based clinical information anywhee to be completely free to you??

Yes the app is free. However youll need to pay a fee of ten bucks to use the app lol lol. Dont you just love game players????

App still crashes as soon as you open it.. How can this not be fixed yet?
